Today marks the start of our Rain Forest Unit. Step one: A Picture Walk. We wrote down things we noticed, things we wondered, and questions to wake up what we already know about the Rain Forest. Tomorrow is vocabulary day, then we get our learning logs. This will be such fun because I have never done a Rain Forest Unit myself.
This leaf, or is it a lizard, was particularly interesting to the class.
We all immediately thought of
Verdi when we saw this, which connected to
Stellaluna. So many connections!
