To celebrate the first day of Spring tomorrow, AND all the snow falling outside, we read My Garden by Kevin Henkes.  Everyone was too excited to listen so they were sent off to sketch while I reread the book.

Today we celebrated the 100th Day of School!  Well technically it was last week but...with Multicultural Night and Report Cards coming up we took a little license.  No one seemed to mind.

Stories of Our Culture

Last night was the first ever combination of Multicultural Night and Literacy Night.  There were 4 stations running at once.
1) Performance and Projects in the Gym
2) Food! Food! Food! in the Cafeteria
3) A book fair and book givaway
4) Read Alouds in classrooms

I was at the Free Book book giveaway table so I only got a few pictures.  Look who stopped by and picked out books!  Bailey I'm sorry I forgot to take a picture of you...I know you were there.
