Me on the Map

Our next unit is all about studying maps and where we fit in.  We started by making our very own cartographers to help us on our journey.  Ok, map faces are a little odd, but they look so cool!

Above we have a world map, a map of the USA, Google Maps, and a chart with "me" as the center point.

Below are highlights from making our cartographers.

Snowman Construction Company

The Right Foot

It's a tradition in my family to start the year off on the "right" foot.  So that's what we did when we came back from break.  Everyone hopped from left to right foot, traced their foot, then wrote about how they would start the year off right!

Good ideas all around.
